2022

A lot has changed in the last 2 years.  I am not the same.  We are not the same!  I have been grappling with this change, as we all have together.  I recently came home for 2 weeks between shows, and am heading back out tomorrow.  I have learned some valuable things during this short stint back home...definitively, that I am not the same and I cannot continue to run my business in the same way I have.  I have, for 25 years, focused on making art that is vulnerable, intentional, inspired, and authentic, while simultaneously raising a family that I hoped felt my boundless love and premier devotion, despite also running a business.  I have also focused on making sure my work was available to everyone, I want my work to cross all sorts of boundaries, including socio-economic ones.   Because of that I have offered much of my work as reproductions and have offered multiple price ranges, specials, and have not raised the prices of these in 15 years despite the cost of making them more than tripling.   At this time, I have a very large library of reproductions available.  It is overwhelming me... Due to all sorts of "issues" including but not limited to: supply issues, shipping issues, delivery issues, equipment issues, studio space, rising costs, frustrated customers (not often, thank you, but understandable!), and sheer lack of time, I have found myself overwhelmed and unable to continue as I have done these past years.    I know it will be a disappointment to many, and I have been struggling with this decision for months, but the past few weeks have shown me that the cost on my wellbeing to keep up with this part of my business is more (much more) than the return.  The ability available to my family, be able to spend time with my new grandchild, to see my loved ones near and far and be present in my community are incredibly important ingredients to my life.  We have all learned the lessons of value these last few years, especially in the face of losing those things that we value.  In light of this, I will be making a drastic change to the way that I sell my work- especially reproductions.
I am forever grateful to each customer, client, patron, collector no matter how large or small the amount has been exchanged.  It is my honor and my life's work to make art that "feels" and connects.  In order to continue that work, I must move forward and leave some things behind.

At present I will leave the "reproductions" page available and accessible with existing prices for the month of May.  Any orders placed in this next month will ship AFTER May 15, no later than June 1.  After June 1 the reproductions will no longer be available as is.   I will occasionally release new reproductions in much more limited editions and possibly open sales back up to the current and past work in limited time frames.
I appreciate your understanding and support in this first step in a few changes to come,  and hope that it opens my mental, emotional, and studio space to continue exploring my/the human experience through this medium I have been so blessed to be able to explore.  I hope you continue to treasure the pieces you have collected over the years, and I also hope you are able to allow yourselves the permission to make changes you may have been needing but not allowing yourself...we are not the same, we have changed, things must change, its ok.
